Słania's stamps for the Faroe Islands
Czesław Słania engraved 100 stamps for Postverk Føroya, the postal administration of the Faroe Islands in the years 1975-2003.

The entire volume of 1979 was engraved by Słania.
FR 36: The Ram, is showing the heraldic animal of the Faroes. It is Słania's masterpiece for the "Sheep Islands" and considered as the most famous Faroese stamp.

Note, that the stamps FR 42-46 were layouted by Słania, but drawn by Bárður Jákupsson, and can thus not counted among his engravings.
