Museo del Prado

Español: El Museo Nacional del Prado es una de las pinacotecas más importantes del mundo, y cuenta con una inigualable colección de pintura española, italiana y flamenca. Tiene su sede en Madrid, España. El edificio supuso la culminación de la carrera de Juan de Villanueva y una de las cimas del neoclasicismo español. Fue ampliado en 2007 por el arquitecto español Rafael Moneo.

English: The Prado Museum, in Madrid, Spain, is one of the world's leading art museums, with an unparalleled collection of Spanish, Italian, and Flemish paintings. Spain. It hosts more than 9,000 pieces, 1,500 of them in permanent exhibition. The building is the major work of the Neoclassical architect Juan de Villanueva (1739-1811). An extension by architect Rafael Moneo opened in 2007.
