Trouble uploading new version of Photo
When I try to upload a new version of photo file, it just says "Copy uploads are not available from this domain." What does it mean? Satsukihuffingtoon40 (talk) 09:28, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
- @Satsukihuffingtoon40: Were you on Commons when you saw that message? Or were you in another WMF domain? I'm guessing the latter, and what it was saying was that to upload a new version of an existing file you need to be on Commons. Also, usually overwriting is not the right thing to do. Please see Commons:Overwriting existing files if you haven't already, to make sure you are familiar with policy on this. - Jmabel ! talk 17:26, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
